Details

The release of AIDS OS Y Version 10.11.6, a zine-hybrid edited by Peter Cramer & Jack Waters for Lost and Found, Danspace Project Platform 2016, will be presented at the NY Art Book Fair, as part of The Classroom. The event will feature a discussion on collectivism and the inter-generational legacy of HIV/AIDS, its presence and erasure as defined by both memory and current experience.

Allied Productions will also host a book signing event on September 23, 2-6 pm, with live on-site drawings by Carlo Quispe, creator of Uranus Comics.

Now in its ninth year and organized by David Senior, Head of the Library and Archives, SFMoMA, The Classroom is a curated series of informal conversations, workshops, readings and other artist-led programs as well as an informal venue for artists, writers and publishers to feature new releases and present their publications.
