Details

Take a look at where this epidemic stands today, from a contemporary perspective. For 35 years the LGBTQ community has been impacted by HIV/AIDS. This collection of life-affirming shorts give us an intimate look at what it means to live positively, from waiting for test results, to effects in specific communities, to the realities of day to day life.

Total Running Time: 90 mins. Q&A with filmmakers and select cast to follow. Also screening the following day, Monday October 23, at 12:00 pm, at the same location.

The Queer + Positive screening is part of the 29th Annual New York LGBT Film Festival, running October 19th – 24th, 2017. The six-day festival will feature over 140 films, panels, and parties that shine a light on the LGBT experience at various venues throughout the city.
