Web Gallery

In 1999, Visual AIDS launches a monthly web gallery, featuring work from Visual AIDS artists members, and selected by guest curators, drawn from both the arts and AIDS communities.  Each web gallery is featured for one month, and then archived online.

The Web Gallery increases exposure for artists living with HIV to an international audience, helps maintain a legacy for those lost to AIDS, and uses art to breaks the stigma of HIV/AIDS by exposing the diversity of work, themes and artists, while continuing Visual AIDS tradition of innovative collaborative work. Past curators include artists/curators/activists: Nayland Blake, Ann Northrop, AA Bronson, Joy Garnett, David Humphrey, Avram Finkelstein, Julia Bryan-Wilson, Jonathan Weinberg, Eungie Joo, Sarah Forbes, Brian Clamp, Ted Bonin, Monya Rowe, Jeanne Bergman, Tom Viola, Kim Davis, Julia Gruen, Slava Mogutin, Sacha Yanow, Mike Albo, and many others.
